Windows 98/2000/XP supportedA optional developer’s kit is available which includes an extensive application programming interface (API). The API is designed to simplify the most common tasks associated with configuring and controlling the camera.
Housed in a rugged lightweight magnesium housing or supplied in a board level format, these cameras have a C-mount ring for lens mounting. The board level (OEM) models have an extra 16-pin header for enhanced control & hardware triggering>
The Pixelink capture application is included free which allows the user to get up & capturing immediately. Features include controls for: gamma correction, signal gain, exposure time, image flip/mirror as well as choice of 8-bit or 10-bit data streams. The option of placing a bitmap graphic over a previewed or captured
image is also possible. An overlaid scale, or reticle, can help to determine the size of an image feature at a known magnification. Reticles are provided in 5 styles and 13 colors, to overlay on a 1280 × 1024 image.
