photo id system or in a machine vision project.
Housed in a rugged lightweight magnesium housing or supplied in a board level format, these cameras have a C-mount ring for lens mounting. The board level (OEM) models have an extra 16-pin header for enhanced control & hardware triggering.
The Pixelink capture application is included free which allows the user to get up & capturing immediately. Features include controls for: gamma correction, signal gain, exposure time, image flip/mirror as well as choice of 8-bit or 10-bit datastreams. The option of placing a bitmap graphic over a previewed or captured
image is also possible. An overlaid scale, or reticle, can help to determine the size of an image feature at a known magnification. Reticles are provided in 5 styles and 13 colours, to overlay on a 1280 × 1024 image.
A optional developer’s kit is available which includes an extensive application programming interface (API). The API is designed to simplify the most common tasks associated with configuring and controlling the camera. |
