This compact industrial computer has been designed to extend IT computing power to industral environments.
Utilising an Intel Pentium M processor, designed for laptop operation, the E-NICE-3100 has been designed to operate fanless. The special aluminium chassis acts as a heat-exchange for the PC and dissipates the unit's heat away from the the processor board. It is ideal as a PC for unattended operation in scientifc, industrial or security applications.
The E-NICE-3100 features all the functions of a standard PC and more. These include VGA-out, 6xUSB ports, audio, Dual Ethernet, Compact-Flash, 4xSerial ports, as well as space for an internal 2.5" laptop HDD. For hardware expansion, the unit has space for 1 x short PCI card. This allows the user to use the E-NICE-3100 as a data acquisition system, digital video recording system or as a monitoring system for a PLC or alarm system via the multiple serial ports.
Operation of the E-NICE-3100 is from 12~30VDC. This and it's solid-state design makes it ideal for mobile applications. |
