It supports 2 ports for RS-232 or RS-422/485, selectable by jumper, and the other 2 ports for RS-422/485. Moreover, each RS-422/485 port can control up to 32 devices in a multidrop environment.
Applications can easily manage data transmitting and receiving of the half-duplex RS-485 port without extra code using Automatic Data Direction Control (ADDC) intelligence.
In addition, on-chip hardware flow control and built-in termination resistors guarantee data integrity, and optical isolation and surge protection are available as options. All of this makes the Industio CP-114 series highly reliable and suitable for harsh industrial applications. |
